iSCSI Storage Appliances

The new W series is our 3rd Generation of appliance built with Wasabi Storage Builder and is built in-house by hand, with pride. This is our most popular product line and is a mature and proven solution (5 years of production deployments). It's feature list is not quite as long as the A Series but the cost is much lower and there is much more flexibility in hardware/format/sizing and we can even offer built-to-fit custom solutions.

The W-100 is our entry level 2U model with 8 drive slots, SATA support and 2x1GbE connections. Customer option to take single PSU or redundant PSU.

The W-200 is our compact middle of the range unit with a fantastic 2U with 12 SAS/SATA drive slots. Featuring 1GB of system RAM and a 5xxx series Intel Xeon processor and a BBU backed LSI RAID controller. The W-200 can be expanded with a single J-316 JBOD to support a maximum of 28 hard drives. Customer option between 2x1GbE,  4x1GbE and redundant PSU.

The W-300 is our fastest and most expandable production unit and features a dual SAS port expander 3U chassis with 16 drive slots and redundant power. This model features dual Intel Xeon 54xx series processors and a premium LSI SAS RAID engine featuring 1GB of DDR2-667MHz battery backed cache. Expandable into the hundreds of hard drives this platform offers an unbeatable value for large installations where our linear pricing model generates incredible value compared to Tier 1 vendors.

The Custom option is for those customers who do not see an exact fit between their needs and what we offer in our standard models. We have a number of options available including the option to switch the W-300 main chassis to a 2U with 24 drive slots for 2.5" drives. This is an appealing option for customers pursing maximum IOPS through 2.5" SAS 15K drives or 2.5" SSDs.
