Why do we price our units WITHOUT Hard Drives?

• We want you to know what you are paying for OUR product, not obscuring costs by including lots of drives made by a third party.

• We support and sell Seagate, Western Digital and Intel drives with our appliances, any other common SATA drive should work but has not been tested.

• We want to be able to offer what we call "pass-thru" pricing on hard drives, we will pass through what ever price we ourselves can get the drive for through our volume suppliers, this way you get the best price possible. It is our intention to only mark-up a drive $25 to cover the possible costs of warranty work, this number is always the same whether the drive costs $100 or $2000.

• Allows us to adjust hard drive pricing on a daily basis, call or email us when you are ready to order and we will give you the pricing that day. This might sound extreme but pricing can vary significantly from one day and one supplier to the next and when you are ordering 10, 20, 50 drives at once the savings can be significant for you.

• We think you will be happier this way.

• We never liked buying arrays with drives included, why would you?
